We have many different ministries in which we serve people of all ages. We encourage you to get involved with us as we share God’s Love. Here is a partial listing of the many ministries we have:
Girls Ministries – Girls Ministries Clubs is a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Girls Ministries provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
In the Girls Ministries Program we have a group called “Rainbows” which is for 3 and 4 year old boys and girls. They meet from 6:30 – 8:00 pm on Wednesdays also.
Royal Rangers – The mission of Royal Rangers is to reach, teach, and keep boys for Christ! The purpose of the Royal Rangers ministry is to evangelize boys for Christ, develop the total boy for Christ (spiritually, physically, mentally and socially), and keep boys in our churches. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
You can find out about the Royal Rangers program at the National Assembly of God’s Royal Rangers Webpage : http://royalrangers.ag.org/
Junior Church Group – Soldiers For Christ is our weekly Children’s Church for kids from K-6th grade. We meet Sunday mornings during the morning worship service and are dismissed to go Children’s Church at offering time. They meet in the Fellowship Hall. When special speakers come, the children may stay in the Sanctuary for the morning service. We also have a Children’s Church Class for 3 & 4 year olds who also leave the Sanctuary at offering time to go with their teacher to their classroom.
A staffed Nursery is provided for nearly all our services with the workers having required background clearances.
A Bible Study is held every Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:00 pm for all ages from youth, young adults and up.
The Gospel Trackers. They meet on Sunday evenings from 6 – 8:30 pm. After the adult worship time, they are dismissed and go to the Fellowship Hall for ministry and activities.
All of our staff have required background clearances.
5 WAYS TO KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS
Read Luke 2: Read Luke 2 before opening presents. After you read, remind everyone of WHY we are GIVING gifts. There is excitement in giving, not just getting.
Give Christ a Gift: On Christmas Eve, get together and hand out a piece of paper to everyone in the family. Ask everyone to write down a gift they’d like to give Christ in the coming year. Suggestions: Be more patient with your kids, for siblings to be kinder to one another, to be more involved with serving others, etc. You could keep these in a place that is visable all the time for a reminder to yourself throughout the year.
Have a Party: Have a birthday party for Jesus. Sing worship songs instead of Happy Birthday.
Hide & Seek Nativity: Hide the various pieces of the Nativity Set around the house. As a family, search out the story of Christ, and see if you can put the nativity scene together again.
See what it may have been like: Watch a video together as a family about the birth of Christ.
