Outreach Ministries at New Franklin Assembly of God

At New Franklin Assembly of God, outreach is more than a program — it is the heartbeat of our mission. We believe the Church is called to go beyond its walls to share the hope, love, and transforming power of Jesus Christ locally, nationally, and around the world.

As part of the worldwide fellowship of the Assemblies of God USA, we are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission through evangelism, compassion ministries, discipleship, missions support, and community outreach. The Assemblies of God emphasizes a fourfold mission: to evangelize the lost, to worship God, to disciple believers, and to show compassion to those in need.

Global Missions Support

New Franklin Assembly of God proudly supports 24 missionaries and missions ministries around the world, including:
  • 21 international missionaries
  • 3 missionaries serving within the United States
Through monthly financial partnership, prayer, encouragement, and personal connection, we help spread the Gospel to unreached people groups, strengthen churches, support pastors, care for children and families, and provide humanitarian aid across the globe.

Our missions partnerships reflect the biblical call to “go into all the world and preach the gospel” while empowering local believers to make disciples in their own communities. Assemblies of God missions ministries continue to impact millions worldwide through church planting, evangelism, education, compassion ministries, and leadership development. 

Supporting Compassion and Community Ministries

In addition to missionary support, New Franklin Assembly of God provides ongoing financial support to 14 outreach and compassion organizations that serve critical needs both locally and globally.
These ministries provide assistance through:

  • Addiction recovery
  • Family and pregnancy support
  • Evangelism initiatives

We believe practical acts of compassion open doors for spiritual transformation. Outreach ministries are vital because they connect the love of Christ to real-world needs, bringing hope, healing, and restoration to individuals and families.

Local Outreach with Eternal Impact

Our outreach ministries are designed to serve the greater Chambersburg community with compassion, authenticity, and purpose. Whether through community events, meals, family ministries, benevolence, senior adult outreach, children’s programs, or seasonal outreach opportunities, our goal is to demonstrate the love of Jesus in tangible ways.
We believe every act of kindness creates an opportunity for relationship, discipleship, and spiritual growth. Outreach is not simply about meeting temporary needs — it is about introducing people to lasting hope through Jesus Christ.  The new local support ministry that we have begun is Midday Mingle, a welcoming, Christ-centered gathering that brings people together around the table—just as Jesus did. Inspired by the early church (Acts 2:42–47), it combines a shared meal, meaningful conversation, worship, and prayer in a relaxed, authentic setting.
